Meat Animal Sale Purpose
To encourage youth group members 
to enroll in livestock projects 
& to provide these youth group members with 
a monetary income that can be used 
to get started in and / or expand his / her 
livestock enterprise
 or be used for further education.

Class for “Youth for the Quality Care of Animals” (YQCA)

   Provided through the UW Extension Office

This is required for all youth who exhibit animal projects

  (Beef, Dairy, Goats, Poultry, Rabbits, Sheep and Swine).

A copy of your YQCA certification of course completion 

   MUST be submitted with your Juneau County Fair Entry 

   Form no later than July 1st to be allowed to show and / or

   sell your animal.

At the Juneau County Fairgrounds in Mauston

   For ALL Beef, Goats, Sheep, and Swine

      That are to be sold at this Juneau County Fair Sale

Have the following forms completed and ready to turn in

_____ Swine Health Forms (completed by veterinarian 

            - the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection 

               or Intrastate Health Certificate)

             --- This certificate must be given to the 

                     Weigh-In Coordinator     
                  BEFORE Swine are Unloaded for Weigh-In

_____ The Combination C.O.O.L. (county of origin)
            and Market Animal Certification Forms Submitted

Exhibitors MUST Bring to the Banquet:

At least 2 Completed & Stamped Thank You Cards or Letters

          1 for The Buyer of the Animal &

          1 For Another of the Bidders at the Sale

&

ALL Exhibitors receiving a Trophy and / or 

   Any Other Special Award Another Thank You Card or Letter

      MUST be Written to the Trophy / Award Sponsor

Also Bring a Dish to Pass (other than meat or beverages)
